don't forget you have to fill up the form and explain how many canadian citizen/ resident working in your company compare than foreigner. Then you have to calculate the percentage of the cap. The math to calculate the percentage is in the esdc website. You may search for that. Gud luck

U cannot only have job offer letter from employer. Ur employer need to apply pay LMiA $1000, supporting docs such as advertisement from jobbank and why there is no canadian/pr available for the position.

Yes u will get pnp result before ur permit expired.

Y dont u wait untill get ur PR to start ur PhD? So u will pay the tuition fee less than international student. Getting PNP does not mean u r resident, u r still foreigner.
