Hello everyone i need your help .. I have done my bachelors of arts and i have 3 years of work experience as a elemantry school teacher .i have got clb level 9 in ielts .. But my consultant said that i should have a b. Ed degree to show my experience as a teacher .. But i have nevere read anywhere that a work experience must be related to the prvious education ., please advise me should i go ahead to create my profile under express entry or not ?? .. As i do not possess bachelor of education degree still can i get success in getting my visa ?? Please help me

The description for your NOC code does state that you would have a B.Ed, but this seems weird to me too (I'm based in the UK, where many people who go into teaching do a regular BA or BSc and then a 1-year PGCE, or other teaching qualification, and it is possible to be a teacher without the specialist teaching qualification at some schools). At the end of the day, a B.Ed is a Batchelors degree, so since you have a Batchelors in another subject, and are actually doing the job, I can't see how it would be misrepresentation - it's the same level of education. I take it you'd have no problem in getting a letter from your work confirming that this is your job, and your duties match those of the NOC code? If so, I'd go ahead with the profile, but perhaps other teachers have better advice?Jass chouhan said:

Are you filling as CEC or FSW? For CEC who claim inland experience they tend to be more strict on the NOC requirements so if it says that you must have a B.Ed to claim exp XYZ then you MAY have trouble claiming that experience. For FSW or experience you got outside of Canada they don't look at such requirements, they tend to only care about your duties and how closely they match your NOC.Jass chouhan said:

Well in that case I think you'll be OK! But do check on the forum with regards to your NOC... There must be others who have applied with the same NOC without a B.Ed.Jass chouhan said:

Relax and dont panic. Do a thorough search on the forum. You will find people with similar experience.
As per my understanding, if you can prove that the work you performed falls under the NOC, there will not be any problem. Qualification doesnt matter. I would suggest you to go ahead with proper documentation and good understanding of the NOC under which you are thiking of applying. In any case there is no harm in applying and this is not at all a case of misrepresentation.

Thnkyou all for answering my question .. I m trying my best to find put similar profiles as i m having ..' I m just worried . But i have read frequently asked question of federal skilled worker that work experience needs not to be related to your education if u have done your job duties according to noc job duties .. Go ahead... this was asked a lot of times and I can say that if you are not a doctor, if you are not a lawyer etc you are fine. I am a political scientist and my NOC code is 0124 ....Jass chouhan said:

I m really thankful to you for your kind advise.. In my noc code it hass been written that for employment requirememt bachelors of education further preceded by bachelors in arts or science.. Education mentioned in NOC means that you need that education in order to get job in Canada. It does not mean you need that education for the work experience in your country. So you are absolutely fine. At the same time to work as teacher in Canada if it is mentioned that B Ed is required then you will not get a job without that education and you will have to work in other field until you get the required education.Jass chouhan said:
