Need to make a change for non - accompanying spouse

Hi ,

I received an ITA and i am not taking my spouse with me for now, but had all the information filled out. While filling out the application for ITA, i realized that my spouse's birth year was entered incorrectly. But I am unable to change it (looks like the mistake was made while applying for the express entry).

Is there a way i can email the ircc letting them know about this? how do i go about this if anyone had similar experience.

When you login to your account and continue your application (eAPR), you see a few forms to fill. On that page, on the menu bar, you'll see an option of "Modify Family Information". Click on that and you can make the changes there.

There is no value in changing your spouse to non accompanying at this point as you've already got an ITA. Sponsorship is long route and whether they are accompanying or not, you need to submit their medicals, and pcc. Better to complete that application as accompanying.

Thank you for replying. I did that , so in the modify part it says the correct birth year. But somehow not reflected in the unaccompaniying spouse section.
