Hi
I've been selected for the Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship from India that entitles me to pursue a 4 month project (March 15th, 2012 to July, 2012)at Concordia University, Montreal and requires a work permit for the same.
We procured the hardcopies of the selection letters two days ago. And I have applied for a temporary work permit today i.e. 13th Feb, 2012. The Canadian Embassy says it requires atleast 4 weeks to process the visa. Could you provide me with any measures that I can undertake to speed up the process?
Also I browsed about Prior medical examination on the Internet. Will it accelerate the process? I have submitted my passport to the visa office. But the doctor requires the original passport and a letter from the high commission to take the medical examination.
What do I do?
I don't want to lose this opportunity. It is my dream coming true.
Thank you.
