Dear all,

I got working visa and waiting for agent long time then LMO is expired and agent told me we have to change to another LMO (new employer) so my question is

if i got new LMO, do i have to re apply for visa or not?

big thx

If it is a working visa, it does not matter the LMO is expired as long as the job/employer is legit and job is still available.

If you are obtaining a new LMO because it is for a different job/employer, then yes, you need a new work permit.

that u said "I need a new work permit" mean i have to re-apply visa ???

No need to re apply for visa (TRV, foil pasted on passport), but you have to find a new employer and obtain a positive LMO. Once you have the new valid LMO, you can obtain your WP at the POE within the validity periiod of your TRV (visa).

Yes I have a copy of that when my passport was sent back to me with the visa on it. First employer backed out. Looked for a new one, got new LMO and got the WP at the POE.

Thank you for your information.
Right now i have to wait for new LMO & contract then i can book flt ticket bcoz i already have visa, right????

Right. You have to find another employer willing to file for new LMO and get a positive LMO before the visa expires.

Please make me clear again about new LMO, if it comes then i have to submit to Canadian embassy, right?
Then the embassy will give me a new letter (which attached with passport) in order to be accordance with the new LMO. ????

You already have the "instructions" on how to get your WP. When you get to the POE you show that letter, together with the LMO and contract, and the officer at the POE will get your WP ready under the name of your new employer. But you must get to Canada before your TRV expires otherwise, you'll have to apply for the visa again.

can someone explain to me what is this "letter" you guys are talking about? my friend has a work visa; he also has his LMO and contract and is coming to canada in a few days. he never said anything about getting a letter with his passport. will he be fine with his LMO and work contract at the POE?

When the visa office sends back the passport it comes with visa office file number and instructions that you have to show the letter to the POE officer, etc. If your friend did not get any then probably different visa offices have different operating procedures.

I just got news from my fr in canada, she told me i will get new LMO but same employer as the old one and my question is ...
--- Do I have to submit the new LMO to the canadian embassy again even the same employer as the old one, right (because the file no. of LMO changed)?
