Need LMO information

can someone explain to me what is this "letter" you guys are talking about? my friend has a work visa; he also has his LMO and contract and is coming to canada in a few days. he never said anything about getting a letter with his passport. will he be fine with his LMO and work contract at the POE?

If your friend has a contract, that is enough. You don't need a contract at the time you apply for the work permit, you have to have a job offer LETTER stating the terms of the job offer. They must match what is stated in the LMO. But a contract is even more solid than this letter, so your friend is fine.

As i told you guys my LMO was expired since end of Dec 2010. Then agent re submitted for new LMO since Jan.2011 til now it's not out yet. Anybody know why it takes long time? (My visa will expire by Oct 15,2011)
