Hi everyone,

I really feel very bad, therefore, I need everyone help please.

I have applied for Canada early 2007, I got the letter from CHC London stating my file number and confirming the submission by July 2007. On April 2009, I got a letter from CHC London asking me to submit the full Documents which I did in October 2009 and some update in December 2009. The e-site still showing "In Progress" & "We start your application on July 2007".

So far I got no news from CHC London, is this normal?
Do I have a chance yet?

Please help!

Yes this is normal no need to get tense or worry it is only few weeks after they received your update (I mean you send update in Dec,2009)
You will get soon medical request. Normally they take 3-4 month after update. You are not in fast track applicant. so pray and not to be worried. May you can send e-mail to CHC London to inquire your case

I think I have to send a reminder.

I hope to be able to make it to Canada before the summer otherwise it will be difficult for me to land in winter time.

Hi,

This seems to be perfectly normal. Also, I will suggest not to send any email or something right now asking what is happening etc etc. Let them process your application and they will contact you for sure. Don't be tense. Just take things lightly. I sent my docs in May and got an interview call in November and got my Visa in January. So, you can get an idea of the timeline.

If you are so worried, you might order CAIPS notes - if you know someone living in canada you can order it through him for free, if not - there are some websites that do this service for approx 30$ up to 100$ this will give you some more details than the e-case - not sure how it work with the old process maybe one of the seniors can comment

Post addnl docs stage, it can take around 4-5 months to get your meds. As u have sent your last docs in December 2009, expect something by Apr-May 2010 only.

Anything earlier should be taken as a bonus, but cannot be planned for.
