Need help. Urgent.

I applied for cec at the end of september. And i am on study permit now. But really ots worthless for me to pay 7000$ every semester while waiting for cec redult. What should i do? Can i apply for tourist visa now? Any kind of suggestion will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't understand the concern here , How its worthless to pay money for your education ? What you will achieve with TRV?

Ok if that is the concern he can turn back to his country and wait for the decision , Without Job( No WP) and on TRV what he can achieve ?

This person's work permit expired in September and apparently they don't want to 'waste' money on student fees. Presumably, they just want to be a on a visitor permit so they can just bum around whilst waiting for PR and minimising their expenses.

Hopefully they will return and write their question in a far more coherent fashion.

Its not about study gurinder. Its all about waisting money while waiting for result. So my concern is , if i move from study permit to tourist visa it will affect Cec or no?

CEC is based on work experience that you already have. You could currently be in Outer Mongolia and it wouldn't matter. If you think you would be better off on a tourist work permit, I don't see why it would be a problem to switch.

That said, I don't know what the CIC would think if you came to the country on a student visa purely to get the one year experience, before applying for CEC and dropping out on education.

1 - Why exactly are you studying on a study permit if you think it's worthless?

2 - You don't have to stay in Canada (on a visitor or student visa) while waiting for CIC's decision on CEC application. As arowberry pointed out, you are free to go wherever your heart desires.

Man either you are not aware of the process or have wrong info , What it has to do with your application , you being not in canada and you being in canada ? Do you think leaving the country will impact your application ?

Your PR application and Your Study permit/ WP/TRV are two different things , they can't be correlated .

When your work permit status expires after applying for CEC, you had two options if you want to stay in Canada: visitor permit (no tuition fees associated) and study permit (lots of tuition fees for international students). Why did you choose the latter one if you didn't want to spend the money?

My agent told me to go for study permit because sometimes they dont extend trv after 6 months. That is the readon i choose study. But its costing me more than what i have earn during my wp
