Hey guys, I am hoping someone can help and confirm if my responsibilities in my current role are sufficiently matching the responsibilities described for NOC 2171 – Information systems analysts and consultants.
I am currently working in the role of a Product Analyst, my major responsibilities include working along with the Product Manager in the organization for finalizing any functionality that will go in the next development cycle of the product and then work with the development and quality assurance teams to help them understand these requirements so they can develop and test it in the upcoming release cycle.
Below are most of my responsibilities in this role:
As you can see above, I do not perform any kind of coding as such of the software, instead I am involved in the functions that fall around the development of the software product. So, is this enough for me to pass for a NOC 2171 – Information systems analysts and consultants?

Acting as primary liaison for the engineering teams and Product Manager of the designated product portfolio, aiding in the development and delivery of a quality software |
Confer with Product Manager and customers to identify and document requirements for enhancement requests |
Prioritizing requirements in conjunction with the Product Manager for each development cycle and managing the requirements in product backlog |
Manage Product Backlog by creating and maintaining detailed functional and technical use stories through the process of story grooming. |
Work closely with peer Product Analysts to ensure inter-team dependencies for the requirements being developed are handled |
Work closely with the UX design team to design a product with focus on better user experience and accessibility |
Collaborate with the product documentation team to document the developed solutions in a clear and concise manner |
Participate in release and launch activities for each product update cycle such as product documentation review, internal team and customer training |
Participate in customer research to keep abreast of product trends and use this information towards planning the roadmap for the product |
Review and triage customer enhancement requests along with the Product Manager |
