Friends, I need help for the Medical exams related things...

My husband is the carrier of Hepatitis b, but he is so far no need to take medicine per doctor`s suggestions. Also no other problems with his liver. (blood test, ultrasound).

We took the medical exams last month, and he told the doctor of his hepatitis b situation, the doctor asked him to do additional testing of AST/ALT. His AST/ALT is good.

So in a word, his only problem is the surface antigen of Hepatitis B.

Now 1 month passed, no further progress of our application, and we have learned it`s pending my husband`s medical results.

My questions is -- should I just wait for further requests from CIC? (Maybe asking my husban to do additionl tests later?)

Or we can take the initiative to offer some paper documents, like virus inactive(DNA), latest 3 years blood report to show no impact of the liver, etc...Any other paper/approval can help?

I am just kind of confused if offering such documents without visa officer`s request is a good idea? And not quite sure how long it will take for my huband`s medical result available?

Please help us...

Appreciate if any suggesions :'( :'( :'(

Thanks a lot Klmy for your reply!

My case is "In Process" now, i have emailed CIC to see if any updates, and got the answer "pending your husband`s medical result".

Any idea probably how long we need wait until moving to next stage?

Have a nice day ;) ;) ;)

Do not stress yourself. As another member suggested, do not proceed with further tests. If any additional requirements are needed, you shall be advised accordingly. Do remember, some times it does take time to see progress in e Cas. Golden rule, learn to relax and be calm. :)

God Bless and wishing you success in your endeavor.

If you just want to do "something", why not order GCMS notes and see what is written there.

thanks for the suggestions!
is it similar to CAIPS? Yes, i think it`s a good way to know the current status of my case, i am reading on line about how to order the "GCMS notes", maybe not so easy looks like...

Anyway, this is something i can do for now, haha ~~ ;D

Global Case Management System replaced CAIPS. Good luck

I am so surprised to see the note saying “Medical results have been received” on CIC web site this morning. :o

Does it mean our family`s medical tests have PASS (including my husband`s special case)?
Or just the results are received but not decided whether PASS or NOT?

Anyway thanks a lot for all your kindly words and nice wishes, god bless you ~~ :D :D :D

Thank you klmy~~

You really cleared my doubts :)

So it looks like, Hepatitis B is fine if all your other health status are good… wish more people can pass the ME test ~~
