I have applied for the FSW 2013 and fortunately have been able to make it in NOC 2131(Civil Engineering) occupation list. My file has been transferred to LVO and I am awaiting request for medicals. I am a Hepatitis B carrier but with border line virus levels. I am based in the UK and registered with NHS for the last 2 years and have been having Liver ultrasound and blood samples taken every 6 months. My Hepatologist has recommended that I do not need any treatment as my liver is in good condition and that the virus levels are dormant.

I'll quote my doctor's note on my most recent visit :

''He has Hepatitis B e-antigen negative with low-level DNA of 10(square). I am pleased to report his ultrasound scan was entirely normal I have reassured xxxxx that he does not require treatment for hepatitis B at this stage''

When I shall receive my MR should I declare that I am carrier and would this cause any delays or issues? I am a bit apprehensive and shall be extremely obliged to read comments from senior members. Thanks every one in advance.

Regards

Yes, you must declare that you are a carrier. Your blood test will probably show it up anyway.

Dear hepahelp,

Don't worry..it must not make a problem. Even I am sailing the same boat like my elder brother. Recently, he got Australian PR. Sam should apply to us here while applying for Canadian PR.

God bless you and all! All the best!

Thanks for your reply,
Do you reckon if it would cause any problems? Would it delay my application?

I doubt it. You don't have any choice, so just get it over with. ;D

do you have hepatitus c dormant or its just Hepatitus Antibodies show up ?
anyway if visrus is alive then it will be difficult to pass Medical , however they give you time to recover and then appear for medicals .....hope it helps

Hi,
Based on the medical report I will say Congrats but still I know people too with the same aliment and for rapid improvement and cure they placed themselve on a particular natural supplement recommended by doctors too.

Luckily for you the supplement is everywhere ,you will find it there in UK ,just place yourself on it and within the nxet one month or the next time you visit your Doctor, you will see a positive result.

Now ,in some hospitals they recommend that supplement for Liver, stroke, kidney, hepatitis, hsigh blood pressure,Diabetics and lots of patience with different ailments.

If you are interested will give you my details so that you can contact me for the full break down where you will get it where you are and other info.
I will advice you to try this out, HEALTH IS WEALTH.

hope to hear from you.

No it is not C and it is dormant, My GP has been closely monitoring my results for the last 2 years and they have told me that I donot need any kind of treatment as it is dormant and is not effecting my liver. If I am not a strain on the UK healthcare system then I dont find any reason why Canada would treat it as a hassle.

All I am looking for is experiences from any forum members who have gone through a similar situation.
