I'm at Carleton andd I would tell you not to choose Carleton for Computer SCIENCE . Even though I'm doing my Btech Aerospace Engineering In carleton , I dont see a lot of computer science students here . If you're opting for Engineering , Carleton is the best place you can get into .

Umm , I've heard Concordia is goos for Computers . I have'nt personally met anyone from Computer Department for Concordia .

Windsor being next to detroit is kinda isolated and dirty . The academics are pretty straightforward but tthe locality sucks.

I have'nt heard about the other one .

1. You'll find more part time jobs in Ottawa and Montreal hence, Carleton and Concordia would be preferred.
2. As per reputation and rankings, Concordia and Carleton are better than the other two.
3. French is the local language of Montreal where Concordia is situated. For others, French wont have any influence.
4. Climatic conditions are almost same in all 4. Could be a bit colder at Thunder bay where Lakehead is situated.
5. Cost of living would be cheaper at windsor and thunderbay than the other two (but not by a huge margin)

If I had a decision to make, I'll rather chose between Carleton and Concordia

You have to know french, least basics for Concordia, as all the local communication in Montreal is in french that includes roadmaps, train routes all are in french.

If you are not good at french then try McMaster, Ryerson in Toronto.

Also you can look at University of Saskatchewan, Regina, Alberta, Calgary. All these places don't need french skills.

You can also try BC. Simon Fraser, Victoria, UNBC.

Check out Manitoba province too, University of Manitoba is one of the top universities in canada.
