Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello There,

I live in a one year old condo. The Landlord did not inform me of a leaking problem. It has leaked once since i've moved in. But the inconvience of maintenance people coming inside my suit to test the celing every now and then is unbearable. Today, the entered my suit wothout any prior notice while I was asleep!! I want to file a compalint especially that it is gonna take them more than months to test the celing for any leak before closing the open hole and then fix and spray the celing!!.

BTW the shower of the swimming pool is above me.

If you know where can I file a complaint, please let me know. I live in Mississauga.

Thanks

Hopefully this information will be helpful:

Thank you Scylla.

My problem is not with the landlord as they were livid with what happened. They are also so upset with the managment or actually the builder for the recurring problem in their apartment. It was not any emergency they only wanted to check the ceiling.

Do you mean the condo management company? Is that who you're upset with?

It should be the builder.

Yes the building management. the manager is the one who allowed the maintenance team in while I was alseep and without serving any notice. I want to sue them and if she wants to sue the builder for the leak I do not care..

I've bought a door chain.

I have asked a broker but he doesn't know where can I go and file a complaint.

found this website: I dont want to pay money for a lawyer, are not there govermental offices I can go to? hope the one below could help.

the latest update: I contacted the Ministry of Consumer Services. Apparently as a tenant you have no right whats so ever. If the Landlord allowed anyone to enter your suite, they can. I told them my Landlord was not notified, they said that my Landlord should complain not me.

Anyways, just wanted to tell you that there is a Ministry of Consumer service.
