Can i check my file status from the number i recieved from NS.

I submitted my full docs on 13th Jan (recived as per courier details) but no aor.

Also i cannot check my status using old file number. I am putting my file number , surname and other details.

Am i doing it correctly.

I am not very sure.

To my knowledge as per this forum using your file number your shld be able to check status though you will receive another number from local CHC.

Senior pls advice.

You should be able to check from both the file numbers i.e. from the Nova Scotia one as well from the local visa office one. If not then wait till Tuesday and then I think you should be able to check it.

yes, i am able to check my ecas after sending all the documents, 2nd stage. this is since sep-2009. i sent complete documents in july-2009. but have not received anything after that.

does it mean that we do not need to wait for withdraw confirmation (in case you want to put new application) and put new application.
can anyone please confirm if i can put new application and my old one will automatically be cancelled.
by the way i have already fax and mail my local office to withdraw my old application.
