Hi All,

Here is my query:--

My husband is a Bachelor Degree holder ..but I don't want to get his Education Evaluation done and neither I want to claim his points of education for Express Entry... So while creating a profile for Express Entry what should I mention about his education (no Education or Bachelor degree). Please Suggest!!

Thanks Much!!

Assuming you are the PA, you can either choose to include their Bachelors degree and also mention that you haven't got an ECA done for that or leave it out altogether. Doesn't matter either ways as you won't get points for their Bachelors.

Hi, just remember that you are taking a course of action that substantially leads to you and/or your husband not being able to get as high a CRS score as you possibly can. (Note: this does not apply if you and/or your husband have a Provincial Nomination or a positive Labor Market Impact Assessment).

A Bachelors degree (of 3 years or more) with a valid Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) could possibly get you 112 CRS points (assuming you apply as a co-applicant). There may be additional points as well depending upon employment experience and language scores as well.

There is a possibility that CRS scores are likely to stay high for the near future, and with this being the case by not getting an ECA you are severely reducing the chances you will get an Invitation To Apply for Permanent Residence.

(Disclaimer: I am not telling you what to do. I am just stating some facts).

Yes. I am the primary applicant. And since we both are out of our country, We are really finding it difficult to get his transcripts. (seems like he has to visit his university to get things sorted out). So I just want to go ahead with my ECA. So I don't want to claim his points of education for Express Entry... So while creating a profile for Express Entry what should I mention about his education (no Education or Bachelor degree). Please Suggest

As Asivad said, you can simply say that he has a bachelor's degree but you haven't done the education credential assessment (there is an specific option in the form for that).

In my opinion...when I added education for my spouse system asked me whether I have 'Credential Evaluation' for that. You could say no there and you will get no points for spouse's education.
