Need Help!!!Can I go to Philippines for a vacation w/ canadian visa on passport

Sure I could get letter from my present employer it's just that I went directly to Canada from Taiwan so I didnt pass all the requirements from the Philippines. They might ask me to do all of them again when I go home.

Bring with you your old OEC copy, proofs of previous POLO verification, and make copies of your WP, Valid entry Visa, contract, and the letter. Often times, copies of these are requested. Also, bring your Canada-issued IDs proof of residence in Canada. Who knows - it may be asked to be presented.

I advise on having these in handy should proof be needed for the current work aside from the letter from the employer. In my experience when applying - I did not bring a copy of my employment contract as when I called them before coming in to apply, it was not mentioned. But the clerk at the counter asked me for a copy - which I did not have at the time. Luckily the I had an employment letter that had all the details he needed to do the evaluation (length duration of work contract, dates, employer's name). You may not have all the other docs I advised to be handy (sorry I am OC on these matters) - so make sure you have the letter, a copy of your contract, visa (and just in case WP) and I almost forgot, your passport.

I tried looking for copies of the docs in the OEC application I filed, unfortunately I don't have a copy of the OFW info sheet. But you will be asked to fill in also a PagIBIG membership form (?), COMELEC Absentee voter form aside from the OFW sheet.

Hi po sa inyo! Tanong ko lang po may vaalid working visa po ako dito sa SIngapore til 2017 pa, tapos po expiration ng canada visa ko til september this year. Gusto po kasi ng employer ko start ako ng september kc nasa uS sila the whole summer. Balak ko po sana umuwi ng july mgbakasyon ng 2 weeks tapos balik ulit dito. Ok lang po ba yon? hindi ba ako mahohold ng immigration sa pinas?

Hi everyone! I know that this post is 5 years old but I am in the same situation as the one on the original post from 2012. Hoping someone can help me get rid of this worries. My Canadian working visa had just arrived but I also want to take atleast a week long vacation back home in the Philippines before coming back to Hong kong to fly to Canada. I still have my working visa active until I leave Hk. I am worried I might get in trouble with the immigration when they see my Canadian visa on my passport when I come back from vacation. Need some advise badly. Thanks in advance!

I just got my Canadian work visa as well here in Singapore and I am planning to go back in the Philippines for 2 weeks to spend time with family before going to Canada. I am still holding my Singapore work permit as I only plan to resign once I came back from Philippines. Will there be any issue in our Philippine Immigration? Are they going to hold ume back even if I am still working and currently holding work permit in Singapore? Thank you! Please badly in need for your help! Thanks!

I need someone to help me...I process my visa here in Hongkong. I just got it. But I would like to go for a vacation to Philppines for a week before going to Canada. I need to go back in Hongkong,because my employer prefer to buy the ticket from hongkong-canada. Would there be any probem in the immigration if they saw my visa stamped on my pasport? My agency said that I can go back here in Hongkong for as long as I still have an existing contract with my Hongkong employer. Is this true? if that so, my employer here in hongkong is willing not to cut my contract until I come back. please advise.
