Need help about work permit

HI guys,
I am holding a open work permit after graduation for 2 years in ontario.
I got my pnp for ontario and also applied for paper based pr in last december, waiting for AOR.
My open work permit is till june 2017. My pnp certificate has restriction on it for my employer. I am confused about work permit, which one should i apply for , bridging open work permit or closed work permit (employer specific work permit) ? I called cic twice, both time they told me to apply for open work permit after getting AOR. However, it is posted on cic website :::


If you are currently working in Canada and you have applied for permanent residence, you may be eligible for a bridging open work permit if your work permit will expire in four months or less. This means you can keep working while we make a decision on your permanent resident application.

To qualify, you must have applied under the:

Federal Skilled Worker Program,
Canadian Experience Class,
Federal Skilled Trades Program,
Provincial Nominee Program,
Caring for Children Class, or
Caring for People with High Medical Needs Class.
You must also:

currently be in Canada,
have valid status on a work permit that is due to expire within four months,
select “Open Work Permit” as the type of work permit when you complete your work permit application, and
pay the work permit processing fee and the Open Work Permit Holder fee.
Note: If you applied under the Provincial Nominee Program, you must not have employment restrictions as conditions of your nomination.

I think you could wait for you AOR and apply for open working permit.

what is in the box with "employment restrictions" is it a YES or NO ??
if YES then you can apply only for the closed work permit

and on my nomination certificate has employer restriction. so not sure what to do?

right now I have open work permit. I talked to my few friends about this matter. they told me if someone has open work permit they will get open in future too.

One lawyer told me as long as you have AOR, you could apply for open working permit. in my case, i got nominated 1 months before my working permit expired. I had no choice but apply for closed working permit, and 204c is support letter for your close working permit.

I think your friends told you nonsence

but if you have to much money try it with BOWP first but in my opinion you will not get it
and be prepared to apply for closed work permit with a 204c is support letter from your province

Sorry I don't have her phone no. I only have her wechat contact but my phone went down today for no reason
204c letter of support along with your nomination letter. do you have it? I'm in Alberta, or maybe that's different.

this nomination file has 4 pages
first page states expiry of nomination
second page states letter of support details
third page states temporary work permit: letter of support
forth states confirmation of nomination

is that what you mean by 204c?
or something else i need to ask from provive ontario goverment?

it sounds like this 204c letter of support

The conditions to apply for the bridging Open work permit would be:
1) Having a current work permit
2) Employment restriction saying " No " in your support letter
3) AOR

if you have all three you can go ahead and apply for bridging, if not just go for the Close work permit.

I am currently waiting for the AOR but they received my papers in 24th of Nov. My status expires first march.

If I didn't receive it the AOR by mid Feb I will go for the Closed work permit.
