need assistance regarding NOC 4214 (Early childhood Educators and Assistants)

Hey la_luna and nads1. This are the employment requirements for NOC 4032 Elementary school and kindergarten teachers which i am planning to apply on i have a bachelor`s degree in education although i am not meeting with other requirements mention below

Employment requirements

A bachelor's degree in education is required.
A bachelor's degree in child development may be required.
Additional training is required to specialize in special education or second language instruction.
A provincial teaching certificate is required. Additional certification is required to teach English or French as a second language.
Membership in a provincial or territorial teachers' association or federation is usually required.

are they in elementary school kindergarten or is it actually a daycare?
I'm not sure how's it going in your country, but for example, in my homeland children age 6 to 7 are still in daycare, our elementary school is different from daycare/kindergarten/preschool and even if I have experience with children aged 5+, I'm not eligible to work as an kindergarten teacher in Canada, because that's, let's say, elementary school and different kind of education is needed.
I'm really not sure about your situation, especially since you've started this topic for NOC 4214.

Hi,

This is my understanding:

Before the EE was initiated, you would need a license TO APPLY to that NOC.

NOW, you don't need one TO APPLY TO EE.

However, TO TEACH in any Province in Canada, YOU MUST get a license. Here are links to the pages of three Provinces telling you how to do that:

Today I got an email from VO, stating that I am not eligible for PR as my employment (4214) and my education doesn’t match. Right now am working with call center, but before joining call center I was working as nursery teacher in India.
Also, they mentioned that there is no evidence of form 16 or income tax return & salary transferred to bank for 4214.
Lots of small nursery schools in India Pay by cash or Cheque, and that time I never bothered about income tax because salary was very low & that was the reason I moved to call center for higher package.

Though they have written in their email that they’re giving me last opportunity of 30 days to explain & provide supporting documents.

Can anyone in this forum help me……feeling very low, depressed, demotivated……feeling like crying….

Hey Guys,
My spouse is a preschool teacher here in Canada. If you want to become a preschool teacher you needed a license from the province where you will be practicing. So you guys with Bachelors in Business i wont fool you. Its really difficult to get land an ECE job here in Canada although it could help you gain points towards your express entry profile however the industry is regulated just like the skilled trade jobs. My Spouse completed her high school here in Canada and attended a small community college where she got her Early childhood Educator certificate(ECE) and her Infant and toddler she then needed to submit a form which consisted of a Doctors note, criminal record check and a letter from one of her professors to the ministry of education in Victoria BC. She was then issued a license to practice as a teacher. Although getting a job was really easy as she landed her first job with a reputable company which owns centers all over Canada. She has been working for this company now for 1 year and 7 months. So please do some digging before you apply as requirements for an ECE license differs from province to province.
