Need advice. Plannig to join NAIT

Hi,
I m a b.tech (Mechanical Engineering) degree holder and was not able to find any good jobs yet and then i heard about NAIT from a friend. I went through their website and found that they don provide any PG courses. I am planning to do pertoleum engineering technology. Will the courses they provide be a plus point with my degree. Will i have a better chnce for a job.

buddy be wise in chosing ur course as far as i knw this is undergraduate program. U already have an undergraduate degree and going for another one will reduce ur chances of visa. i have seen some of my friends whose visa application got rejected with d reason dat their program is not relevant to their previous study.
Go for graduate diploma and you can change to any other course after reaching there.
my brother studied from NAIT and he did the same . changed his course after reaching canada.

See, you can apply to NAIT and may even get an offer letter. But this is not enough. You might get rejected by choosing a course , again at the graduate level. So be rational.

Do not simply choose an institution like NAIT and then find a course. Do reverse of it.

Course Selection (like a PG course)>Institution.

This way you can get your offer letter + study permit and can easily go to Canada to study.

Hello Garry,

I heard student saying that the immigration has changed rules or their are some restriction on changing course and college after reaching Canada. Is that right or you can easily change course and it will not affect your future immigration things i.e PR or Work visa??

Hello Everyone,

I have completed my B.Com studies in India and planning to study in Nait. I have applied for Bachelor Applied Business Administration program at Nait 3 months ago and got accepted 2 days ago for Winter semester. I just want to know since I have completed my bachelor degree in India and can not find any post graduate program at Nait so I applied for this degree program. In order to get into this 2 year degree a student must have to have diploma program from a accredited university or college whereas I have a degree (B.Com). I am looking to know the Study visa chances in this case and also someone going to Nait can also contact me.

Please reply fellas...and I will keep updating about my status...any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
