Don’t believe MBBS is 2 degrees. Was the entry after secondary school without a bachelors. Normally it is evaluated as a professional degree although it could be offered as a bachelors. Very dependent on the school but in general a professional degree. You will have to wait for the assessment by WES or other organization.

IMGs have to pass 2 licensing exams and then repeat their residency. In most specialties there are no leftover residency spots. Most IMGs will need to pursue another profession in Canada.
