My updated and completed timeline:

Application to Sponsor a Member of the Family Class received by CIC - January 13th, 2017
Received Application and UCI numbers - January 31st, 2017
Requested Background Check form - Feb 7th, 2017
Requested Background Check form (again) - March 17th, 2017
Application forwarded to Delhi Visa Office - April 11th, 2017
Received email from NDVO saying they'll begin processing by June 2017 and get back to us - May 15th, 2017
Status of application on ECAS changed from In Process to Decision Made - July 12th, 2017
PPR received - August 2nd, 2017
Passport submitted - August 3rd, 2017
Received email about status change in MyCIC Account to Approved - August 12th, 2017
Passport dispatched from NDVO - August 14th, 2017
Passport ready for collection - August 16th, 2017
Wife travelling with me to Canada - September, 2017

Side Note: We had included the PCC and the Medical forms before-hand. My wife's Medical was done in November 2016, and PCC was obtained in December 2016. Application was submitted in January 2017.

One more thing.
When you try for GC key linking online. Open up your Generic Application Form (which you applied for Provincial Nomination). Filling in verbatim information about your application. Will be linked.

I have been able to link my application to my GCKey account. Turned out that I was not entering place of birth as per the form. Now the application states that "your action is awaited" however, there are no messages or no information of what action is required. Any idea how can I find that out ?

I think this is a dummy message.
Remember, now everything will meet you on this, Medical Form too. Keep checking it well.
Do not wait for e-mail.

BC in Progress: 10 August 2017
Decision Made in ecas: 11 August 2017

Waiting for PPR: May God help in this quicker too!
