Hello everyone, I've been following this thread for quite sometime now. I'd like to add my timeline for Open Work Permit Spouse. Hopefully it'd give others some boost of hopes ( positively )

App sent through VFS - sep 30th
Received HC- 1st Oct
Med Req- 11th Oct
Med Done- 16th Oct
Approval email- 21st Oct
PP to be dispatched tomorrow through air mail.

Thank you everyone for sharing your own experiences, it really helped me a lot. Wish you all the luck guys, I know the pain of waiting for a decision which can be either ways.( till the end )

Guys... you all know that I have received Medicals, looks like the Medical Centre will take 3 - 4 days to upload it to CIC, what is the normal process and duration after we receive Medical requests?

It is normally a week or two. But now no idea due to strike.

Funnily they asked for my medical and my old passport around Sep 8th and havent got any communication from there thereafter.

Due to strike action everything gone wrong. Strike is over but the effect of that is there. Don't worry u will here some good news soon. Best of luck.
