ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Mine is TWP+LMO and OWP for my wife. I applied online on 13 August 2013 to NDVO. Since then nothing till now.Ben0101 said:

Submitted application at vfs Kolkata 9 th May
Received MR 29 th Aug
Request for additional Doc 12 th Oct
Submitted AD on 18th Oct
Approval email received 22nd Oct.
Wish u luck guys have patience. When u get approval email u will feel that its worth the wait....

Processed Passport received at VFS Canada VAC Delhi on 22/10/2013. Following documents are required for collection of the Passport: •Original Invoice cum Receipt
•Passport copy
Note: Should you wish to get your passport collected by your representative, you are required to handover a authority letter duly signed by you along with a photo Identity proof of your representative(i.e. Driving license, Passport, or PAN card).
But I have not receive the approval email as yet. Could someone please let me know what does this mean. Is this approval or rejection?

And did u submit your medicals as well as IELTS
Thanks u very much. I got the mail at 9.43 am this morning. Now the process is different. They give the approval mail first, then they send the acknowledgement mail for medical and pcc within 25 to 30 days after the approval mail. In my case no IELTS was not needed. I am uk return.
