Hope for the best .... i mailed the same query to consulate .. Waiting for their reply .. Hey eds1275 do you know what's the response time of mail by consulate?

Consulate never replied to any of the emails. We emailed twice, once on 5th september (to confirm the receipt of medicals) and again on 12th to enquire about the status. Only automated replies..

Here is timeline.
Paper app sent to New Delhi- 23rd August 2013
Medical request email - 27th August 2013
Med done -30th August 2013
Passport released on - 19th September 2012

All the best guys ! Never been this nervous in my life..

application submitted to new delhi consulate office on 19th august
medical request : Not recieved any mail from consulate regarding medical
application approved : got visa stamped and letter of authorisation on 9th september
Now i am waiting for reply from consulate :: that medical is required or not

My wife didn't get any sms from VFS. I checked status online this morning (Indian Night Time) and status was changed.

Hello everyone,

I had applied for SOWP for my wife on 20th August 2013.....jst 2 days back I have received 2 mails from immigration officde...in first mail they have send a request for more marriage photograhs and has asked to fill one Relationship quesionnaire...and in another mail they have send medical request.....

I jst want to know that has anyone else also received such request for more pics and relationship questionnaire?.....In our original application we had already send all the pics that we had...as ours was a small ceremony we dont have more pics....can anyone tell what can be done in such scenarion....

Ankit I not an expert but if you have no additional wedding pictures What if you write a good cover letter giving brief detail of your wedding arrangements, why you decided on the type of wedding and guest list. There is no law that says all weddings have to be elaborate. Provide other pictures that show your relationship over time and be sure they are clearly dated and preferably show the passage of seasons, hair styles, annual celebrations, etc. Good luck.
