These are Jan/Feb/march applicants who are receiving/yet to receive medical and visas.
April applicants are yet to hear. Hoping that NDVO is real quick to respond to the pending applicants.

Thanks roop9! I'm quite tense right now, since there's no word on my spouse's TRV. Going to collect the passports tomorrow from VFS personally. I have my fingers crossed until then.

Thanks roop9! You're right, got the passport with both Visas stamped. I can relax now

Point to note for others with the same dilemma, the approval email is sent only for Study/Work permit - not for the TRV. The only way to know if a TRV is approved is by checking the PP.

I have applied my open work permit as on 15th april 2013 through vfs-ahmdedabad as my spouse is having Post Graduate wp in canada till 2015.she is doing job in noc category in toronto from the last one year.and i have submitted following documents with my file:

letter of invitation from my spouse (Notarized)
her pay slip of last 3months
her bank statement of last 6months (Balance:-CAD 12000)
her tax returns
her employment letter (that she is working in a company from last one yr)
my bank statement in india last six months (Rs.780,000/-)
my salary slips (Rs.42,000/-)
my tax return (Gross income as per income tax Rs.540,000/- per annum)

I hope this documents are enough to get the visa.

Today it is more than Two months still my file is under process.
please revert your feedback.

I submited OWP application forms online 2 days ago. (My spouse got WP under PNP last month.) Properly the policy has been changed from May, comparing my documents with yours, my documents are different.
Did you send by paper application? Which country you are applying?

@ vivmehta. Your OWP-S complies with IMM5488E(Workpermit Checklist).You have done good job.

Now CHC clearing Jan,Feb applicants and running with snail pace.

Strike of PAFSO union, huge amount of student visa applications in this month at NDVO severely delaying processing of WPs.
