ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

You were the one who had asked if you should apply for Open work permit spousal or TRV since your wife had two rejections early on? Am i correct?

If yes then how did you work it out this time? Did you hire an lawyer or added documents? Do share your timeline as well as in when you applied and when was visa approved

u r rt..this time also i applied on my own with added docs such as marriage fotos and invitation card and showed fd's also this time and with bank amount upto 60,000$ including fd's..rest all same like b4,,

i applied on may 17th and got passport with visa on 29th..if u got any queries il help u

Congratulations on receiving your work permit!

I have a question - My case is similar. I have also applied for intra company transfer work permit at the VFS office in New Delhi on 25th March 2013. I haven't heard back from them yet and the online tracking says my application is "under processing". Once this gets processed, will I also need to go through medicals? I am getting transferred from US to Canada but am Indian citizen so had to apply from India...so will I still need to go through medicals?

Gaurav is right...If you have stayed in India for more than 6 months in the last one year, then only u will require any medical test else not....in ur case u were in US so probably it wont be required for u

I applied for open work permit spouse on jan 3rd...husband on study permit. Both of us have past history of Canada stayed there for 2 years

this applies to your wp processing too

before everythng send email to Delhi Embassy asking update on ur file, if u know a local MP , include letter for faster response !

5 months wait time is unacceptable when as per their guideline it is 2 months.
looks like we just can't blame our govt for inefficiency...Canada is right there.

Right thing to do is to inquire first - send email to ndvo accompanied with minister letter, they respond to those in 5 days,

withdrawal will just double ur work , having to redo the whole thing again
