ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

I am currently working in Canada and my wife has applied OWP-S from India on 11th Feb.
Can somebody share the general timeline for OWP-Spouse ??

Has anybody tried this scenerio ??
Applied a Temporary Resident Visa for your spouse which it takes only 1 week and upon reaching canada, tried applying workpermit within canada for your spouse..
Even if there is a delay or rejection of OWP-S, atleast spouse will be in canada rather being alone in India.

I have applied for WP With LMO on 20-Feb-2013 & it reached NDVO on 23-Feb-2013. Till today its showing under process. Can anyone Guide How much time it will take ? I browse the forum and found now a days its taking approx 5 weeks. in my case 5 weeks are over. Completely tensed..! Any one in same boat ?

what u have quoted is much simpler, i did the same thing last time when i was in Canada.and ya it works out well...I did a big mistake b applying OWP-S from India this time..
Does anyone here has any idea on withdrawal of application???If i don't get my visa by may i am planning to withdraw and apply for a visitor visa and then go there and get my work permit..

But there also cases that OWP-S got rejected within Canada since you came as a visitor in the first place.
Also I have noticed two different processing time of 20 days and 2 months. Can anybody through some light on this ??

I have applied on 19th Feb and it reached to ndvo on 20th feb. But still there is no update from them.

Hoping that we will receive some update soon.

Got an email on 17Mar2013 that I dont have to submit the medicals and they have already received satisfactory reports.

I have raised a case specific enquiry as i have completed 2 months.. keeping my fingers crossed..

Its actually sad, cause now i dont think i would be travelling to Canada after all.. not immediately at least..

That's really sad. Did you try to make case specific enquiry? I know you might have already tried it.

This is all very frustrating. Hopefully they start clearing up the feb files from Monday.

We should only make case specific inquiry if we don't hear in 60 days. In my case still 6 days are left so I will wait for few days more.
