I got the email today saying my OWP is approved. I applied on 8-Jan. Medicals on 16-Feb and approval email today. I applied via VFS
and the VFS tracker says

Note: The airway bill no. will be updated on the website by the next working day from the dispatch date of your passport.Incase of Hold Passport Request: Your Passport has been held on Request at Delhi OC.

Does that mean the # will get replaced by tracking number by tomorrow ?. Im confused about the last line "Your passport has been
held on Request at Delhi OC". Any idea or this is the standard format ? I have never asked to hold my passport

This is standard msg for all. If you didn't asked them to hold your passport, then don't worry. It will reach VFS office or to you ,depends what you had instructed during submission.

Hello All,

I have applied for a new work permit through my employer (CAQ and LMO already received). I have also applied for an open work permit for my spouse along with the application. My application was received by the ND VO on 5th Mar 2013.

I might not need medicals since I have been living in Canada for the past 4 years, but my spouse will since he is living in India. From this thread, it seems like most people receive their MRR around the 5th week and visa grant takes about 2-3 weeks after the Meds are completed.

Does anyone have a similar case as mine? Can you share your timeline?

Today I have received Fees refund of my 2008 file. As everyone knows pre 2008 files were cancelled because of "Federal Skilled Worker Class Action Lawsuit". Amount refunded is INR 57651.99 (equivalent to CAD 1100 with conversion rate 52.4109)

Though I know this message is not fully relevant to our forum but I have just placed it keeping in mind that many forum members might be victim of this lawsuit.

Just send soft copy only. No need to send physical copy.

Good , I also got my refund cheque in first week of march, still waiting for credit of that money in my account , ICICI bank says it will take 1 month to get this money in my account .

Has anybody had any fruitful responses by using the individual case enquiry after the 2 month processing time. I do understand that the delhi immigration office is not prompt in responding to queries but can anybody share your experience by using the case enquiry webform .
