I believe the embassy will not ask you to do a medical exam.Since in the embassy web site it clearly shows,that if we are staying more than 12 months in a region where it requires a medial request,then they will request for a MR.

Still the final verdict is on the officer who decides your case

Mention this in a cover letter.. You might not need a medical test but let embassy take that call..

@ ankg,

You may attach the copies of your Passport pages which have Immigration Entry / Exit Stamps / Visa / Work Permit copies of Mexico , as a supporting document to claim that u stayed in Mexico during above mentioned time period.

Updated timeline table with better formatting. I've added an additional column for the date when Meds were done. That should give us a better idea of the time between meds are done and the decision is made.

I have applied for OWP for myself.
TRV for Spouse
TRV for 2 yr old Kid &
Study visa for 6 yr daughter

All are applied together. I have received ontario FSW backlog reduction pilot. Under this certificate for PR as well as certificate/letter for OWP both are received.

Y'day I received a mail containing information regarding UCI, Application Number & Fees confirmation.
This was w.r.t. my PR applicable applied on 30-Jan-13.

This mail was from Centralized-Intake-Office@cic.gc.ca.

Now I am awaiting for medical mail against my OWP application which was applied on 05-Feb-13.

Oh well guys, here is an update. My wife applied for her OWP via VFS on Dec 4th 2012. It turns out that we received the medical request on the 29th of January and the mother fuckers at VFS did not intimate us. It was only after we emailed CIC, we got to know that they have sent something to VFS. What can we do? So visit VFS if you havent received any communication from the visa office alteast 2 months after your application. I have no idea how long it will take for Delhi to issue the OWP now that my wife got done with her medicals last week.
