ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Update: Received my approved visa (for 3 years) today. Approval email and status change stuff happened yesterday, 28 Feb.

Hi varsha,

I have got my visa and now applying open work permit for my spouse and kids. Can you let me know the procedure ( document required) for upfront medical test ( pre medical ) ?
I am planning to do it chennai ? Is there any waiting time after getting the report before submitting the application ?

hi ss, cant we apply for our work permit and spouse open work permit together? the vfs office says one can apply together ie when i am submitting my application for work permit,spouse can apply at same time. y did u apply seperately? kindly advice

If you have already done your medicals then I believe you can send Scanned copy of Medical Acknowledgement / Medical Fees Payment Receipt and tell them the Clinic Name / City of this Clinic / Doctors Panel Physician name ( Panel Physician no.) / Date on which this medical was done, I hope they will be able to trace your medical results.

PS: You may also like to check with your Medical Clinic if they have sent these medical results to CIC ?

what a frustrating time...i applied on 7th jan ....sill now no updates regarding medicals...those who applied after me got the medical request....what the hell they r doing in the office...

Any known isntances where Visa was rejected after medicals ?
I applied on 7-Feb and got medicals done on 16-Feb. After that no news

I dont even know my receipt number or any tracking number. As my wife sent all documents and forms via courier to Delhi office. How can we get File number or any tracking number if we are sending application through courier? Please let me know if you have information regarding to this.
