Dear All,
Thought of sharing few additional information, hoping it may help some one
I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetics so i was really worried while applying for my work permit.Since i was reading few stories stating that it can also be a reason for work permit rejection.
As you all know i applied on 9th January 2013,then i received my medical request on 18th February 2013.I did my medical examination on 21st February 2013.While doing the medical,i informed the physician that i am diagnosed with type 2 diabetics. So she immediately ordered for CREATININE test.I inquired the doctor about this test with little worry but she told me that the permit will not be rejected because of diabetics if it is under control.
Then the medial report was sent to the embassy by next day i.e 22nd February 2013 by courier and it reached the embassy on 23rd February 2013(You can call the hospital and get your courier number to track the transition).
I am little bit lucky here, since for my case the embassy have taken 4 days to make the final decision after receiving the medical result. Also believe that when the hospital sent the report via courier, then the final decision was little bit quicker when comparing to uploading the test result online by the hospital authority.
***If you have any pre-existing condition, then inform the physician during the medical test. Then they will request for any additional test immediately depending up on the condition(In my case they requested for CREATININE test, since they have list of additional tests approved by the embassy).Never hide any information and if they found that,it will simply delay your application.
Control your diet while going for the medical test and I wish best of luck to every one
