I am not sure if Online Application is Fast for a fresh WP application outside Canada one should apply via Paper application route only , Although I got MR after 1 month but Its been 22 days after medicals and I have not heard anything back from CIC , I inquired CIC Call center but they are saying my application is with Visa office in India and they can't check the status of my application.
So I am not sure if its with NDVO or its in Chandigarh . But I believe Paper application is better because at least we know our file is with a particular visa office. Where the medicals will be going . In case of online application its very tough to track it because it does not show any status after application is transmitted. At least they should show its status online if they Received medical etc... in MyCIC portal. I think there is not any other option than waiting.

hi all....Its been more dan 3 months nw since i applied.. no news frm vfs.... no replies to the emails..... no medical request nothng..... hw long wil i hv to wait...... so frustrating

I believe you are staying in UAE ? Then why did u apply in Visa Office at ND ? I think you should have applied in a local visa office applicable to the country where you were staying at that time on a valid visa / residency status . Did u get any file number after application at ND Visa office ?

Hello Friends

Today my husband got email from high commission regarding the approval of open work permit. Status on VFS website have also changed.
