Hi ,
All october applicants ..have you got any update....Don't know why CHC is taking so long to decide...
Is it like this every year during year end..any idea...or is there some concept of year quota ...

goodness.... you're an October applicant and haven't heard anything... when should we 2nd week November applicants hope to hear from CHC... :(

Hi Hitesh,
Yes..I Had submitted my medicals in month of september for visitor visa and hence medical was not required in my case...
I applied on 23rd October but yet no update and too when medicals are already submitted..

prykaul...

i had read somewhere in another discussion topic in this forum.... a person had this theory that most colleges in Canada have a January intake for all courses... therefore all student visa applicants are filing their visa during Oct-Nov timeframe and as the CHC is busy reviewing a pile of student visa applications... the WP/OWP applications get delayed... i don't know how much of that is true... but it's a decent theory...

also... the 'year quota' concept was mentioned by a visa attorney that i had consulted... however i was told by friends in Canada that the quota runs from july to may... for PR applications it definitely is july to may... don't know if it's different for work permits.... let's hope it's the same...

Hi Hitesh,
let's hope we get to hear some thing soon..its about to be two months for me:(

I think , the delay is not for all October applicants. for eg. the below applicants have got their visa already.

I did not get to hear from them today also. My husband has to rent a flat, buy the basic necessities, have to plan many things. We have a 2 year old daughter. This is taking so much time, moreover, the irony is they wont be working on Tuesday and Wednesday, next week. :'( :'(
