ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

It has been exact two months for me today since I applied. Our medicals are also done. I hope, I get to hear something by this weekend! :

I applied on 12th Nov... haven't heard anything yet... i really hope they answer to applications this weekend... else it's christmas next week and it might push things to January...

I am also thinking on the same lines...any idea of the holiday break Canadian embassy has? The consulate in Delhi has holiday on 25th,26th Dec and 1st Jan..
The action has to happen this week... :'(

As per their website, the consulate and VFS centres all across India are closed only on the three dates you mentioned. I assume they don't have any holiday break as such. I really hope for all of us to hear from them before the year end.
