Replied, please send them an email immediately.Please remember to mention every detail ( name , passport number etc) in mail .You might have got UIC and file number also in the medical request.Mention that also .They have mentioned a link also for the same in mail itself.Follow that.Attachment is not generic

Hi Ravi,
DMP gave me the photocopy of the first page of the medical file (they prepared) and told me to submit at VFS or CHC. VFS suggested to submit passport copy, Letter from CHC, copy from DMP and copy bill (of medicals ) .

As per VFS , these are additional docs. I suggest in order to avoid delay, submit all of them

I went to VFS today and they told me that they can not accept any such document ( like medical receipt ) unless CIC directed them to do so. According to them, CIC will start the processing our application once medical report reaches them. I am thinking to send email to CIC directly to them.

Have you got any acknowledgement from VFS for your submission. ?

This is strange...I submitted the mentioned docs at vfs delhi along with the letter from CHC ......they told me that these are additional docs ...

which vfs office you visited..drop an email to vfs helpline also

i am still waiting after medicals sent them mail as well as fax also but they replied saying

This is in response to your recent email enquiry to the Immigration Section of the High Commission of Canada in New Delhi.

Your e-mail has been forwarded to the appropriate section for any necessary action. If anything further is required at this time, the section will contact the applicant or authorized representative.

Till now there is no response from them even i sent reminder mail as well .

I am too much frustrated now . stopped even checking the status in VFS

i send them mail on 17th dec and they replied on 31st dec , i had mentioned all the details in the mail file no passport no, name dob and application date .

in reminder mail i followed the chain of all the mails.

hey neetu..sending chain mail will not help..they don't read mails like we do in our office..please send one mail with all details..mark urgent in the subject...


mention ur passport number , file number if you have , date of application, vfs reference number , your given name ,
Family name , date of birth, marriage date ,mr date , medical done date , passport submission date .

In subject write - [Urgent]Worker- Full name(passport number )-(File number )-Medicals submitted on XXXXX date but there is no update


hopefully they will acknowledge your mail..

Me and my spouse applied for open work permit on 24th Dec, 2012 and idea how much time will it take for Medical?
