ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Hello ,

Few days ago I applied for Work Permit using Online Application Process through MyCIC account and got my File Number next day. I am currently living in India.

Actually I want to understand the approximate time it will take to process this application. Whether online application process follows the timelines given for Online Applications in Canada ( 78 days as of today ) or it follows the timelines for Country specific ( New Delhi ) visa office.

If you are aware then can you please share what is the next step after Online WP Application. Whether online file moves to Local Visa office or is processed from within Canada ? Are all the medicals / PCC are sent to Canada office or to Local visa office where applicant is residing ( New Delhi in my case ) ?

can you please tell me what was mentioned in the email for medical you got from embassy?
whats the procedure going forward? do we have to visit vFs again or how exactly we go ahead?

Reports will be sent to chc by dmp...they gave me the receipt which i had to submit at vfs ..i did the both .

I did the medical . The staff in hospital told me that i have nothing to do with VFS now. But I understand that you had submitted the receipt to VFS . May i know what is vfs response while you are submitting the receipt.
Aye they giving in acknowledgement ?
Is any other documents need to submitted along with medical receipt ?

hey ravi,
normally we would have to submit the receipt with the passport to VFS, since u hv not got ur passport i guess VFS is not in picture...but u can confirm it from VFS or embassy...

hey guys,,,,, my brothers wants to apply for my Workpermit and already have a job offer as a supervisor in a restaurant....the only problem is we do not have any property papers and live on a lease with our joint family.. he has got some insurance policies...two cars on his name...some gold evaluated certificate and 3 lkhs in the account....do u think this would be enough...
please advise its urgent

DMP gave me the photocopy of the first page of the medical file (they prepared) and told me to submit at VFS or CHC. VFS suggested to submit passport copy, Letter from CHC, copy from DMP and copy bill (of medicals ) .

As per VFS , these are additional docs. I suggest in order to avoid delay, submit all of them

why would you wanna withdraw at this stage...? after being patient for so long...

my cousin who left in March 2012, it took 5 days after submitting medicals... it should hopefully come very soon...
