ND Work Permit Processing Time since February 2012?

Booked an appointment for tomorrow....VFS guys are suggesting to wait for CHC reply but now i don't want to waste a single day .....

It's already been more than 2 months ..

Anyway, I agree with Ice tea. Lets just chill the f.u.c.k out! The kids at CHC had a nice long holiday & they've started responding fast now. Everybody will get it soon!

They start the process on FCFS basis. But decision may be based on various other factors. For eg, some one from this forum applied on oct 23rd and got the visa on dec 14th whereas other gentlemen who were applied in same time & getting response now.

hi pippin, i applied spousal work permit on 19 september but no update no medical request no letter of refusal i dont know whats going on do you have any idea please help me out here thanks

Hello guys, my wife have applied for work permit thru VFS bangalore and it reached delhi embassy on Nov 23rd.. till now no updates and status is shown as processing... am worried abit.. Is anyone who applied on Nov recevied any updates? pls let me know... Thanks...

Reports will be sent to chc by dmp...they gave me the receipt which i had to submit at vfs ..i did the both .

i was in US and moved directly to Canada on ICT Work permit , My wife went back to india from US and got medical done on Nov 7 and my employer filed my spouse Open work permit on 4th dec ,2012. Below is the status i can see online :

Passport received at Canadian High Commission, 7/8 SHANTIPATH, CHANKYAPURI, -, NEW DELHI, Pin:110021, Tel: on 05/12/2012 and is under processing.

i have asked my employer to check with High commission, looking forward to see if anyone applied for OWP for spouse and waiting for decision.

There are many applicants for "SOWP". As of now the applicants who were applied in oct 4th week are getting response now. You mat have wait little more.
