this strike is killing people life, think about it

360 or so striking diplomats or may be more.. have basically hurted people's feelings, for many it costed jobs, family emotions, money, career, .... and now these people get hikes and arrears as per strike law if goes positive in next house of commons sessions on sept 6th.. they got nothing to loose

@ terki - For the sake of visas nobody will commit suicides.

Visa services are not at all "free services" .Everybody is paying money.

there is an accountability for each and every Govt services. These issues tarnish Canadian image in the external world.

Canadian Govt. bureaucratic red tapism is not a good indication to country economy.

Methods by which your application can get processed,

1. New minister calls for a truce between PAFSO and resolves the issue.
2. You are the lucky applicant where your application is picked even when strike is ongoing.
3. Emergency House of Commons is called for. (Canadian Parliament voting for Back to Work) And then they clear the back logs in 2 mths
4. During September 6 - 20 , Back to work legislation is passed. And then they clear the back logs in 2 months

I started accepting option 4 ( 90%), option 1 as blind belief ( 8%), option 2 ( 2%) .

But this could be close to reality.

Pick your options and be strong guys/gals....

for me now it doesnt make any difference
the role for which i was supposed to travel has been given to someone else who was lucky to the visa.
i lost the chance which i have been waiting for so long..

See if he can stop the strike and fast the visa process.
