I have submitted my passport for TWP on 18th April in New delhi CHC and i havent got any updates. Now i have requested my passport back,But still they are not replying. Does any one know how long does it take.

for me now it doesnt make any difference the role for which i was supposed to travel has been given to someone else who was lucky to the visa. i lost the chance which i have been waiting for so long..

I think for those us whose visa are pending ,visa decision may be pending for review :'( and the concerned person for review is on strike.

Even i got the same reply from the HC... This seems like a general reply ....not of much use

Few people got there visas...recently..others are still waiting....

Hi sushakar congrats.. My friend also got a similar mail and when he received the passport the work permit visa(w1 category) was stamped in it. When did u submit your application? I have submitted on April 18th and till now there is no update regards Anil

I also called vfs helpline They also told they are not informed about any strike

i have applied for 6 months, so i dont have to undergo medicals. My friend also applied for 6 months. He got an email first from the embassy stating his visa is approved and he got his passport the next day . He is travelling next week.

Hi supamh10 I think delhi office is not affected by strike. I called the delhi High Commission customer support and they told they are not informed about any strike.
