Hello Guys,

I got my visa.. If any of you are facing exceptional delays please go to VFS and check if there are any documents from VO pending for you..

App Date - 22Jan2013
MRR - 28Feb2013
Additional Documents - 5Apr2013 (VFS handed it to me only on 2May2013)
Documents submitted - 3May2013
Visa Approved - 11May2013

I have sent my Application package to High Commission on 24-Jan-2013, Medicals requested on 28-Feb-2013 and submitted medicals to embassy on 06-Mar-2013. Hopefully I will get my VISA this week ;D

first of all..congrats..so happy for you..u had waited so long..so did u get an email of OWP-S approval from the embassy ?
I dont know nikoli..initially when i went to delhi vfs..they said NDVO is waiting to get my medical reports..then when I submitted my medical check bills and receipt to them..they said in 10 days time I will get my passport..but till now no updates..I now dont know when will I get my visa..

What do you mean by additional documents? And is police clearance certificate also needed for Sowp.

Not only OWP-s, regular ICT-WP is also the same case. My case is a real example for this.

Did you submit through VFS?
If you submitted medicals and are still waiting, then it is possible that CHC is looking for additional information from you.
So like Nikoli, you may want to check with VFS to understand why there is such delay post medicals.

I went and checked with VFS but they said its still showing as under processing, so they asked me to submit a letter to CHC and they also said that I will get an acknowledgement, but haven't heard anything till now

Hi Anjushri,

I had submitted through VFS and got a confirmation from VFS that CHC not asked for any additional documentation after sending the Medical reports. I am giving a call to VFS on weekly basis and getting the information from VFS that they are not quite sure about the processing times. VFS is asking a Request letter, if we would like to know the status of the application.

i had submitted my medicals along with my application on feb 8 th..but unfortunately NDVO again sent me medical request on april 11 th..i was totally confused..hospital didnt allow to do the medicals again..emailed NDVO but there was no reply..then went to delhi vfs and submitted proof that i have already done the medicals ..finally vfs got my reports and forwarded it to NDVO on 19th april..but till date no updates..just waiting..

Fibby got her visa in 3 weeks of medical submission...then why are they delaying in your case..2 months after medicals is too much ..why dont you enquire..?

Looks like they goofed up something in your case. Either they did not get the report or missed the next step after medical. :'(
