hi giva333,

They will ask for the copy of ITA, but without that also you can do the medicals. Once medical done, they will give you the e-medical sheet with UMI# on it. Upload this along with all the other documents.

Regards,

Hi Giva333,

Its better to wait till you receive ITA, Coz earlier you do medical, you are losing each day of the period allowed to enter Canada. Medical is valid only for 365 days and once you have been issued with PR you have to enter Canada before the expiry of medical.

Regards.

Hi GIVA333,

Both CIC and NB will accept assets, but apart from that you still should have liquid cash with you and this you have to prove by attaching FD certificate copy, letter from Bank etc. to prove that you have sufficient/readily available cash with you. Also in both NB and CIC forms they ask about both assets and liabilities too. What is important is the READILY AVAILABLE CASH AND ITS PROOF.

Regards,

How long does it take usually to get a reply after sending an EOI?

if you have relatives then it may take less than 2 weeks.

Yes i have relatives and i put in the subject of my email "Connection to New Brunswick: Relatives". I also mentioned that I attended an information session in Dubai last year. I sent the email 1 month ago and till now no invitation to apply :(

Hi Pascal,

I have one clarification, my spouse's IELTS is expiring in the month of July, does she have to appear for IELTS again as we are claiming points? Our consultant said he will submit the application to CIC tomorrow or day after tomorrow. Already sent all the Forms and documents including e-medical sheet.

Regards,

No Need to set for IELTS again as long as he submits your application before it expires
