It may look like that dear... But Open Cetegory has been closed for at least last 6 months!

The only way u can send EOI is through Seminar or direct relation with NB, or French!

Oh i see, so i've got to start packing my stuff to attend a session now !! ;) just kidding.

Would be really helpful, if you could gime some information on seminar, link would be helpful.

Thanks a lot buddy.

Rather than the previous reply, I also have not seen any rejection case within my groups.

Hi ,
I would like to take your advice what should I do in my case.
I have attended Dubai INFO session which held on Monday, 11 July 2016, and I have received the ITA on the same date as well.
in August I have sent all the required documents and I received AOR on 26th of August 2016 (PNP:1610**)
at the end of December, I received a message from CIC that I am not Eligible for express entry as my IELTS results have been expired and at the end of the message "If you still want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, you can take steps to improve your qualifications and
register for Express Entry at a later date. For example, you may try to improve your language score or gain a
higher level of education
. "
I have booked my IELTS exam this month.
my inquiries
1-after I got the result of IELTS exam shall I register for a new express entry as the current one is ineligible and will expire in April. (i tried to check if there is any update option but I couldn't) :-[
2- is this issue can affect my nomination as I was expecting to receive good news in February?? ??? ???
3 - shall I inform them by the situation now or to wait and inform them after I register for a new, valid express entry ?? :-\
waiting for your valuable advices .
thanks in advance

1- Get your new result and create a new EE profile.
2- No, It won't affect your nomination case at any cost.
3- Get your result and create new EE profile and inform NB about your situation.

Goof Luck

Hello Everyone,

I am a newbie to this forum.

My CRS is 354, and have presently applied for PEI (shared my settlement plan).

Just wonder if New Brunswick Express entry is open or when is it going to be open for us to apply.

keep visiting http://livinginnb.ca/

register yourself for any upcoming session, do attend it and get ITA.

Dear All

Badly need some advise from experts. Hi
Me and my husband are planning to apply on February for NB express entry. But confused about postdoctoral fellow NOC code. My husband emailed but didn't get any accurate answer. Just wondering what we should follow? if I search by postdoctoral fellow it directly gives 4011 (uni prof and lect.) but some of the job responsibilities doesn't match (eg teaching). Really confused what to do !!!

Thanks

Thanks for sharing the info.

From the looks of things, NB is still very busy tackling the volume of applications they received last year.
With this in mind, they might resume the Open Category once this has been cleared - hopefully around 2nd quarter of the year.

I suggest you go to this website http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/noc.asp and search for your job title here.
It's understandable that several work responsibilities are shared among various job roles so it will be your responsibility to determine which one is closest to the work you have. I'm afraid CIC nor NB will have time to figure this out for you. Trust you intuition on this! :)

Once you figured that out, just have that as the nominated occupation. If you are still unsure of things, you can write a letter to NB to clear things up. But this step applies only once you are invited to submit an application.
