question re gift deed...what if the cash given to you was not deposited in the bank by your parents...as in cold cash coz they just have it in their safe...old fashioned so they dont believe in savings/bank account. what else would be my supporting documents aside from bank deposit slip and LOE?

As far as I understand the Phillipines is the only country so far that is given priority in verbal invitations. You are right that such thing as verbal ITA is not mentioned on the website at all and when I attended the session in February no ITAs were given on the spot. But those who were registered for Phillipines sessions received confirmation e-mails and there was the information about verbal ITAs. I saw such an e-mail, I guess someone posted it here.

There were also verbal ITAs given in Hongkong, not just in the Philippnes ☺

It's a new system NB is trying out, and I think it makes sense because it saves both NB and the applicant's time.
For the future info sessions, (and depending if the verbal ITA is actually successful), this might be the new procedure moving forward.

Hi, has anyone who submitted EOI under the open category received ITA recently. I was just wondering if there are some quota left for open category applicants with the large amount of verbal ITA's being given out at the information sessions lately.

Hi Guys,
This info is for the people who are waiting for ITA after sending EOI.

I had attended info session in Switzerland which is intended for Francophones on 29th Jan by taking prior conformation from NB though I don't speak french. But I am studying french in India and completed junior level by then. I had sent my EOI on 05th Feb 2016, but didn't get ITA till May 2016. I had also resent it in April 2016 and also called couple of times by then to NBPNP office, but nothing resulted in ITA. Next I called to NBPNP office to speak to the officer who conducted the information session, but couldn't able to speak to her. Since I had a mail communication with her before I attended the session, I directly wrote an Email to her explaining the complete scenario and also tried to convince her in that mail that how I am seriously determined to settle in NB. I wrote this mail along with the EOI on 13th may 2016 and to my surprise got my ITA on the same day.

Yesterday I had submitted my full application and waiting for the package to be delivered and receive an AOR soon. I am writing this that it might work for some one, though not sure that it works again and also may clarify several doubts on receiving an ITA posted in the forum.

May I know when you sent your document to NB? My documents arrived at their office yesterday and am waiting for acknowledgment.

I guess they do it during the initial assessment, which takes up to a month.
