Guys, the CIC web site is down for two days, do you experience that same problem, or it is just me?

Its not just you. Its the same for everybody. It is up again now.

Congratulations PJ1220! Best of luck with the remaining process!

I just wrote that I would like to know the status of my application since it's already 9th week while in the website they said it takes 8 weeks only.

@Svetlanka i haven’t heard that they send any ITAs recently.
@PJ1220, that makes my assumption completely wrong, thanks PJ.

Thank you NB27. :)

There seems to be a priority list as mentioned on the cicnews website:

Top Priority Applicants: Connection to New Brunswick
Second Priority Applicants: Attended a (NBPNP) Information Session in the past 24 months
Third Priority Applicants: Priority Occupations
Note: The NB PNP is not currently accepting expressions of interest from applicants who are not part of the top or second Priority Applicant groups.
Every month, the province may accept a limited number of EOIs from people who must demonstrate their genuine interest in moving to New Brunswick. Candidates must demonstrate evidence of their ability to become economically established in New Brunswick, including having training and experience in a high priority sector, may be considered within this third priority group of applicants.

The following occupations are deemed high priority:
◾Information technology: programmers, analysts, technical customer support, sales;
◾Business analysts;
◾Retail trade managers;
◾Hospitality managers, chefs with formal professional education;
◾Manufacturing managers;
◾Industrial mechanics;
◾Industrial electricians;
◾Bookkeepers;
◾Translators (English-French); and
◾Financials analysts and accountants (certified in Canada)

All individuals who fit one or more of the prioritized requirements above must also meet the minimum criteria of the New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) Express Entry Labour Market Stream (EELMS).

Hi All,

Hope your day is going well.

I've got Nomination 2 days ago. But I have a concern and I don't know how to solve. If you could spend some times to help me out. It would be great.

- My original submitted EOI has NOC code is 2173.
- Ms Fatima (my VO) has advised me to 'reassess' it and she has accepted my new NOC code 2283. She also confirmed that I do not need to update any ref letters. The existing ones match well with new NOC code 2283.
- I updated my EE profile with new NOC code 2283.
- In the letter 'Confirmation of Nomination', they indicate that my NOC code is 2173.

So, As my EE profile has NOC code is 2283, do you think I have to update my EE profile one more time to switch it back to NOC 2173?

Please advise.

Good luck to other people who have been waiting for ITA from NB or waiting for Nomination.

Best,
Michael

hogiamisan, I would contact them (Ms Fatima) and ask, because in my opinion this is mistake from their side and if they have been asked you to change the NOC than the letter of confirmation should indicate the new NOC.

Thank you very much, Svetlanka. I will write to my VO today.

How about your progress with NB PNP so far?

Well, I was asked to reassess my NOC. I changed it from 2171 to 2228 and sent edited 003 form. It is currently on its way to NB. I hope there will be decision next week.

hi hogiamisan,
i don't think it's miss Vayani's mistake as the certificate is issued by the main administration office, you simply can message them asking for a new certificate with the new NOC and i'm sure they will send you a new one with the new NOC.
regards

Thanks, immi_bird.

I have written an email to my VO (Ms Vayani). As I had accepted the nomination on EE profile so she advised me to withdraw that profile and let she know the new EE profile & Job Seeker Validation numbers. She will issue another Nom with correct NOC later

I have done all things above and waiting for new Nomination. I hope I would be on-time for the next draw from CIC.

Best to everyone.
