I have read the same things . Toronto and Vancouver are crowded by immigrants and therefore a shrink of opportunities too. I personally feel , leaving the winter chill , there is a higher probability of setting their earlier and off course add the beauty of nature

It is a blessing to be away from crowded places

Hello New Brunswick nominees
The purpose of the topic to share ideas before we land and settle in New Brunswick; doing so will help all of us.
  • Where in New Brunswick are you planning to settle?
  • How did you make your choice
  • How are you planning to land
  • any recommendation when to come to temp accommodation

Please share your thoughts.

I am so happy for you all who have already made an head way into moving. I am trying for the AIPP and is yet to find designated employers.
Do anyone know of employers that are employing foreign nationals under the Atlantic Immigration Pilot?

Hi Pascal,Thanks for bringing this up. We have settled on Moncton with Fredericton as a second choice. My french is quite rusty at the moment but I am looking to improve it. We just received notification to apply from CIC so we are looking to land around May 2018 if all goes well. I suppose most of you would be there by then so please keep this thread live and give us info on places to rent within moncton with prices. Thanks all :)

Personally I don't know any. Hopefully someone could tell you.

Thanks for your post. We had our share of night life, now I am focusing on raising my children :) being in a quite place is where I want to be

I second that Pascal. Things and priorities change. However, house parties can be arranged, LOL. Don't want to feel old.

hi guys,

how much time we have after we recieve the passports with visa to land for the first time?
Also how many days/years we need to be there to get the citizenship?

i am in UAE at the moment, visited Frederiction once, lovely place to live, peaceful, small airport ( no direct flights ) but just curious after visa, how long i can still stay in UAE? Can i stay for 1 or 2 years in UAE still?

You have 1 year after the medicals to land in Canada, the same goes to all members of your family listed in the process.

To keep the PR status you'll have to stay in Canada for 2 years every 4 years, and to get citizenship will be 4 years in the last 6.

Thank you for the info, so we have only 2 years. Enough to plan and settle in the new country.

How did you get there? I'm exploring my options, I'm think of Lebanon-Istanbul-Toronto then Moncton or Dubai-Toronto-Mo

I am asking cz currently I am in UAE/Dubai and want to plan my trip since I have children

Hi Pascal,

200% agree with you, I and my wife now just wish to stay in a quite place like NB, far from the commotion and madding crowd and concrete jungle/skyscrapers; concentrate raising up the children. Since we are church going people, for us, there are several churches as well in NB. :D :D.

Regards,

Hi! I received my nomination on January/2017 and ITA from EE in the next day.

    • Where in New Brunswick are you planning to settle?
We are planning to settle in Moncton, having Fredericton as a second option.

    • How did you make your choice
After some research I've found more job opportunities for my professional profile in Moncton, followed close by Fredericton, but we have friends in Sydney (NS) and Halifax, that puts Moncton closer to those friends.
We also would like to live in a city no so hilly as our home city.

    • How are you planning to land
    How or when? ???
We are planning to land hopefully in August/2017.

    • any recommendation when to come to temp accommodation
We are in connection with some friends to rent a bedroom for the first month, so we will have more time to search for a good place to rent.
Hi could u pl tell the process of how to get nomination certificate from nb?
