NNAS says "The Advisory Report will remain in your NNAS online account for one year from the date it is issued. The regulatory body will determine how long the Report is valid, but it is usually two years."

@ Highty,I trained in Nigeria and I am through with the NNAS assessment.

Please does any one know if the NNAS Advisory report has an expiry/validity date? Can a recipient apply to eg CNO at a future convenient time?
Have not seen information on this.Thank you

You need to let CNO know about your two years of practice otherwise you may be told that you are out of the safe three years practice zone and also this new information go as part of your assessment process which will work in your favour.
Thank you Iblessed, hope they will ask me if I have any more experience to add so that I can update it. Waiting for the initial correspondence from cno after I registered with them last day

Hi fellow nurses,

Another inquiry for those who have submitted their application already, I would like to ask what did you wrote on the Personal Information part, asking "What is your first language? If we put english, does it guarantee that we might be exempted from taking the Language exam? ;D

Thank you once again.

If all the individual status of document are MEET REQUIREMENTS then you are 8 weeks away to get the report . One more step is after it & that is if I recall properly is 'Ready for final review' which last for one week.

CNO takes upto 20 weeks after the Applicant contacts College to request registration (after receiving report from NNAS). College reviews and acknowledges receipt of application; informs applicants of outstanding registration requirements in up to 20 weeks

The question ...

How long actually it is takes as per forum members who have passed this first CNO stage?

FYI... next CNO stages are

2. Candidate completes all outstanding registration requirements. - Time varies
3. College confirms candidate has met all requirements; sends initial registration form - Time Varies
4.College receives completed initial registration form and fees; candidate is registered to practise in Ontario - Up to 15 business days

HA HA.... CANADA11... for sure..

They will first let you know when they receive your application and after a couple of weeks they will send you a second letter telling you the status of your assessment and what is needed which will included any experience that you did not declare to NNAS.
