Oh! we have almost same timelines...BUt

I don't understand that ....

Your file was ** ready for review** since April 2016 but documents were updated in May. How come file was Ready for review before document was updated ?

I asked the same question canada11 and the man would not answer my question instead he was trying to tell me about backlog and that it took two months normally for correspondence to be updated. I am so P..... off with these money making schemes.

hello! newbie here. I am currently filling up forms online and got sucked with the employment form. I was wondering what year to start with since my last employment period was august 2015. Handbook says to start with the "current calendar year" as YEAR 1.

Should I put zero at YEAR 1 since the current year which is 2016 and I have no employment hours?

or should I put the estimated worked hours in 2015 for the YEAR 1?

Wish anyone could help me, I know a lot have already passed this stage. Thank you guys!

I don't get what you mean by 'my last employment period was august 2015'..

Does it mean that your current employment start date is Aug 2015 ? If yes, then you need to put number of hours of work from Aug 2015 till now.

This issue is my personal experience because i left it blank as I applied for NNAS in Dec 2015 & joined that last employer in Nov 2015.So later I have to send addendum letter from employer. They actaully want to know your weekly working hours

to sum it up, my employment history started 2011 till 2015. I have just started my application. thank you!

OK ..now its bit clear..

You started in 2011 & ended in Aug 2015 .

So If I suppose , you worked in with the same employer for this 4 years so you need to write number of hours of Year 1 till year Year 4 of each year ..Year 1 being 2011, year 2 being 2012 and so on

Almost all of us are getting not comparable..few are getting somewhat comparable....It appears its just a gateway to start processing with Canadian Nursing registration bodies.

Can you please share your timelines..Specifically when all the documents were received by NNAS and they start reviewing ?
Yes Canada11 I have sent all the documents in Oct. 2015 in first week and by the 24th oct. all the documents were received by NNAS (as per DHL). And after about 2 months NNAS displayed on its site that the documents are received. From then onwards they reviewed my documents and keeps changing on the status like ready to evaluate etc. and finally on 24th May 2016 gives full report which is Non-comparable (somewhat comparable in some areas) but overall Non-comparable.
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

Hi guys,

For the NNAS Employment forms, does it matter if the name of supervisor on the front page is different from the person who filled up the forms?

Hello. Anyone here who have applied for trv to visit Canada to undergo SEC?

Im a bit worried about getting denied a visa. Ive heard stories of nurses not being able to take the SEC because of them not being granted trv.

I got non comparable too in almost alll areas but after CARNA reviewed my files, they emailed me saying i had to choose one option - either i take the SEC assessment for two days or study their full course nursing program. I chose taking SEC and im planning to do it by October this year.

No, as long as the one who filled up the form is a supervisor or HR of the hospital you've worked.

Not sure what you mean, need to provide more information about your application. Did you complete study in Canada?
