Provision 6 months for NNAS keeping in mind your all documents are ready.Just to give an idea how slow they are, it takes them just one month to open the received envelopes . for example, they received one of my document on 4-May so I expect that they will open it by 4-June & eventually decide the fate of received document by 4-Jul that if it is worth processing or not. Then evaluation begins which may take from 8 weeks to 16 weeks.
No idea about CRNBC as I will be CNO candidate. BTW CNO as well take 6-9 months to process

So happy we found this forum thread, it's exactly what we are needing!
My husband [a Canadian citizen] and I [American citizen/just recently became a Canadian PR] are currently living in Washington state and moving to British Columbia this fall. He has his associates nursing degree and has been working as an RN since August. He is currently finishing up his bachelors of nursing program and will have it complete by the time we move in September.
From our research we can see that the following steps need to happen:
1. Apply with NNAS
2. Apply with CRNBC
Since he is a recent grad [June 2015] and took the NCLEX, will he be exempt from the SEC test?
I read on the CRNBC website that for your application to even be looked at once it's received can be up to 10 weeks and then another 8 weeks for them to complete it after they have all the documentation. Is this a realistic timeline for a Canadian citizen who was recently educated in the US?
