Hi JWZR421, is it always like that? My working exp was 6 yrs, but almost 5 years employment gap....I would prefer bridging than SEC if I would be given a choice ???

I believe you might be given another option if the employment gap is more than 5 years. I have a friend who applied for CLPNA , her employment gap was exactly 5 yrs when she passed her CLPNA exam, she was given a conditional license instead of the active license. As for CARNA, what I heard was that you will be given the option same with the new grads, but that't not confirmed. It may be safe to call them and ask rather than rely on hearsay. But given that you are still not more than 5 yrs of employment gap and more than 5 yrs of hospital experience, I am pretty sure you will only be given SEC option.

No, they don't start the process of evaluation until everything including language test result is submitted. Processing time (6-8weeks) starts after the opening of last lacking document.

They will not accept test results which are below the required scores.

Did you get a temp license from CLPNA after just a week of submitting to them the forms? Did you send it by mail or email?

You are talking about CARNA? If yes, it took about a month for the assessment result to come out. If your talking about CLPNA, it just took a week.

They mean the whole syllabus of 150+ (200 in your case) pages.
