Hello, everyone! I would like to apply for TRV for myself shortly as my sister is graduating in Canada. I am quite concerned about some points before applying and would appreciate advice on this.
Case - Myself
25 year old, Indian born and brought up in Saudi with legal resident permit. I will be applying for my sister’s graduation day and I have the invitation letter from her college.
Firstly, I applied for UK Visa last year 2018 and was refused. Reasons of rejection were because of my mother being the principal applicant and her reasons were that there was no proper relation showed from the invitation letter which was basically issued by my uncle who is supposedly my mother’s first cousin. Secondly, due to no reflect of his salary income in bank statement as not being shown correctly or missing deposit slips. It was my father who was sponsoring our trip but he used to get his salary in cash and he used to deposit in bank same day or sometimes after a week or so. Somehow, it wasn’t strictly being deposited on the same date. But, we had a record of pay slips and deposit slips.
My reasons of UK rejection were: Travel for just 10 days accompanying mother for family visit And, secondly I’m supported by my father and have no other income on my own.
Question 1
Do I have to mention my UK refusal or not? I was traveling for 10 days for UK to attend my aunt’s daughter’s wedding but since it was our very first time we didn’t know how to apply correctly so we didn’t mention the marriage event for which we planned to go as we also intended to visit family relatives of my mom’s side.
Question 2
No funds available on your own was second rejection for UK and I don’t want to take any risks for my Canada application.
I am currently and was still working when I applied for UK but like I mentioned it was my very first time so I didn’t mention about my work neither employment letter as I thought my dad is sponsoring and now I have all my documents ready n arrested for my Canada application.
Would this be a problem in my Canada application?
Question 3
Even though I have my employment letter attested but it is my father who is sponsoring so in that case how likely are my chances ? Do I need to provide his deposit slips and salary slips and mine too?
Question 4
I’m on a Residence Permit so what would be my status? There is nothing called PR here.
And, what do they mean by national document? Is it my ID Residence Permit of the country I’m living in? Or my national identification doc from my citizenship country ?
Please advise. It would be really helpful. TIA
